Project Tango
V&R Vision & Robotics GmbH is working to improve the calibration software for Project Tango in collaboration with Google, which captures 3D models of the environment and tracks the 6D pose of the device. This allows applications such as indoor navigation in museums or shopping malls, but also augmented reality applications such as placing virtual furniture in an empty apartment.
BCM net
In the project BCM net V&R developed together with BOMAG a system for surface compaction control on asphalt construction sites and thus contributes to the quality control in road construction.
Z+F
In cooperation with Z+F (Zoller+Fröhlich) V&R developed various software components that extend an existing software for the post-processing and the analysis of raw data of high precision 2D and 3D laser measuring systems.
